Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website, the GMCI learning platform, and the services of Global Management Consulting Institute LLC (“GMCI”). By accessing this website, enrolling in training, or applying for certification, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or the services.

1. About these Terms

GMCI operates this website to provide information about its personnel certification programs, to receive applications, and to support learning delivery. These Terms apply to all visitors, training participants, certification candidates, and partner organizations.

2. Definitions

3. Nature of GMCI services

GMCI is a personnel certification body. Training — whether delivered by GMCI or by an ATP — is preparatory only. Enrolment in training does not guarantee admission to assessment or the award of certification. Eligibility review, examinations, and certification decisions are made solely by GMCI. No ATP, trainer, or other party is authorized to make or influence a certification decision.

4. Certification requirements and decisions

Certification is awarded only after GMCI has verified that the applicant meets all requirements published in the GMCI Certification Handbook and applicable scheme documents, including eligibility documentation, attendance, examinations, and fees. GMCI may decline, defer, suspend, or withdraw certification where requirements are not met. Certification does not constitute a license to practice and does not guarantee employment or any professional outcome.

5. Training enrolment

Training places are offered subject to availability and subject to the terms and conditions of the delivering party. Training fees and GMCI certification fees are separate and are always presented separately. Attendance requirements (including the GMCI minimum 70% attendance rule for examination eligibility) apply and must be evidenced through auditable attendance records.

6. Fees and payments

Fees are due as stated at the point of registration or on the applicable fee agreement. Failure to pay may result in withholding of services, results, or certification documents. Fees for training are set by the delivering party; certification fees are set by GMCI.

7. Acceptable use

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website, GMCI courseware, learning journeys, assessment instruments, logos, and certification marks are the intellectual property of GMCI or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Access to GMCI-licensed curriculum through the learning platform or an ATP is a limited, non-transferable license for personal learning use; it may not be copied, resold, sublicensed, or used for commercial delivery without written authorization from GMCI.

9. Accounts and accuracy of information

Where you create an account or submit an application, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information, and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information — including forged documents or falsified experience — voids the application, voids any certification obtained, and may result in permanent disqualification and notification to an employer or regulator where legally required.

10. Privacy and data

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights available to you. Candidate and certificant records are held confidentially and processed only for defined certification purposes.

11. Third-party links and services

This website may link to third-party sites or services, including Authorized Training Partners and payment providers. GMCI does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

12. Disclaimers

The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, GMCI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. GMCI does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GMCI's total liability arising out of or in connection with the website and the Services is limited to the fees you paid to GMCI for the specific service giving rise to the claim. GMCI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or opportunity. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Suspension and withdrawal

GMCI may suspend or withdraw access to the website, the learning platform, or a certification process where there is evidence of nonconformance, breach of these Terms, examination-security violation, misrepresentation, or non-payment. Decisions are documented and communicated. Candidates affected by the suspension or de-authorization of a training partner are assessed case by case.

15. Complaints and appeals

Complaints and appeals are handled under GMCI's Complaints and Appeals procedures. Appeals against certification and related decisions must be submitted within 30 calendar days of notification and are decided by persons not involved in the original decision.

16. Changes to these Terms

GMCI may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is published on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the website or the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Global Management Consulting Institute LLC is registered, as recorded in GMCI's corporate records, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction.

18. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact form on this website or to GMCI's published contact channels.
